Light Music by Anoorada Sriram

Famous Cine Play Back Singer, Anoorada Sriram, performed live on Thursday, 23 November 2000 at the Indian Arts Circle, Funaitees, Kuwait. Anoorada sang more than 15 songs with a variety of slow and fast, old and new songs with a brief introduction of her own. She rendered her own latest famous hit songs like Karuppu Than Enakku Pudicha Kalaru, Oru Ponnu Onnu Naan Parthen and old songs like Athaan En Athann, Maama Maama.

She mesmerized the audience, which was brimming to capacity, with her charm, beauty and her melodious voice. In between the songs, she also shared the experience in her music career with the audience. Anoorada was ably supported by Senthamil Arasu, Anil Kiran, Balaji, Gopi, Kala Vasudevan, Jagdish and Lakshmi. Six cute girls, trained by Bina, provided the chorus. Adrian and Co., provided the orchestra, the standard of which was as in the original songs. Kudos to all the performers for making it a memorable event. Mrs. Sathya Nagarajan, who compered the show, ensured that that there was no slackness during the whole evening.
